The barn we stayed in was well-equipped and clean, just as described in the database reviews. I loved the little extras like the lamps by each sleeping area and the phone chargers that were provided. The owner was incredibly friendly and accommodating, ensuring that the grounds and barns were maintained to a high standard. The location was also great, giving us the feeling of being in the countryside while still having amenities and attractions like Alton Towers nearby. The value for money was excellent, and I can't wait to come back. It's also worth mentioning that the barns are dog-friendly, which is a definite plus.

The best aspects of our stay were the cozy and clean barns and the amazing amenities provided. We were pleasantly surprised to find everything we needed, from cooking utensils to firewood and BBQ facilities. The location was also perfect, with plenty of day trip options within a short 20-minute drive. Plus, the owner was fantastic and always available to assist if needed. It was a great escape from city life and provided quality time with the kids.
It took us a while to figure it out. the noise complaints from the neighbors were a bit annoying.

We recently stayed at a lovely little place that exceeded our expectations. It provided everything we needed for our stay and had a beautiful location with a nice field for kids to play in. The charming presence of chickens added to the overall atmosphere. The accommodation was split into two sections, perfect for families or groups. Each section had a designated seating area, separate toilet, and a fire spot. The barn itself was clean, tidy, and well-equipped with amenities like a heater, fridge, kettle, toaster. The friendly and helpful staff made our stay even more enjoyable. Our children were especially enamored with the rustic setting and begged us to return.
We highly recommend this hotel.

The beds were incredibly comfortable, providing a good night's sleep. The location was perfect, offering stunning views and being close to town for convenience. The barn had all the necessary amenities, making our stay hassle-free.
Finding the designated barn and having the guest's name displayed on the door would have been more convenient. The strong manure stench upon entering the barn was unbearable, forcing us to leave.

I recently stayed at a rustic and eco-friendly accommodation in a beautiful location. The views and farm animals were a delightful addition to our stay. My daughter was initially hesitant about the barn and compost toilets, but she ended up loving it and even asked if we could go back again. The accommodation provided all the essentials we needed, including electricity, warm water, and kitchen amenities. The surrounding area was peaceful and relaxing, perfect for a budget-friendly getaway. The owner was friendly and responsive, making our stay even more enjoyable. I would highly recommend this accommodation for a unique and affordable vacation.

We recently stayed at a lovely little place called Camping Barns in Leek and had a fantastic time. The location was perfect for exploring the beautiful Peaks, just a short 12-minute drive away. The barns provided basic but clean facilities, which suited our budget perfectly. We enjoyed sitting around the fire pit and the kids had a great time playing in the large field with our dog. The outdoor setting was really charming, with chickens walking around and cute seating areas to eat at. Despite being basic, the barns had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, including comfortable mattresses and all the necessary utensils for self-catering.
There were a few small drawbacks to our stay. The shared showers and bathrooms meant that coordinating bathroom times in the morning could be a bit challenging, especially with a larger group.

Located in a stunning and naturally relaxing area, this camping barn offers a rustic and calming experience. Guests can enjoy beautiful sunrise views and ample outdoor seating. The barn provides essential amenities such as electricity, warm water, and a well-equipped kitchen. It is well-organized and a step up from traditional camping, with wooden platforms, comfortable beds, and cute bed lamps. The owner is friendly and responsive, ensuring a pleasant stay.
Some guests reported that the noise from other visitors kept them up at night.

The camping barns provided a cozy and well-equipped space for a comfortable stay. Each sleeping bay had thoughtful amenities like lamps and phone charges. The outside and inside sitting areas allowed for enjoying the fire regardless of the weather. The location offered a perfect blend of countryside tranquility and close proximity to amenities and attractions, such as Alton Towers. It was also pet-friendly, making it a great choice for dog owners.
The thin dividing walls in the barns could be a potential issue as noise from other visitors might disturb sleep.

Beds were comfy and the composting loos were easy to use and not at all smelly. Great location on the outskirts of town, close to a shop and convenient for walks in the Peak District or visiting nearby attractions like Alton Towers and Tittesworth Reservoir.- The firepit was a great addition and added to the overall experience.
There were some flying creatures at night, but that's to be expected in a camping setting. There wasn't much interaction with the owners, but everything was well-explained through laminated instructions.

I had an amazing stay at the Camping Barns. The location was perfect, surrounded by beautiful countryside but still close to amenities. The barn itself was well-equipped and clean, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. I loved the outdoor sitting area and the fact that we could have a fire regardless of the weather. The owner was friendly and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable. And to top it off, it was great for dogs too!
